iPhoto is the obvious choice for Mac users to store, organize and enhance their images.

The application is capable of creating reasonably sophisticated slideshows that can be exported as QuickTime and dragged onto an iWeb page.

Here I have given the viewer control by selecting “Show movie  controller” in the “QuickTime” inspector.

I do not use autoplay for this type of thing as movies can take a while to load.

You’ll see that I have entered some descriptive text above the movie so that the viewer has something to read while the movie loads and the search engine spiders will know what its about as they can’t actually watch it!

This is a slide show of photos I took from my recording studio window when I lived in Vallejo, Northern California.

My view was to the West looking across the Napa River and the historic Mare Island to the north end of the San Francisco Bay and the hills of Marin County.

The sound track is the song Midnight Train written and performed by some crazy Scottish guy called Roddy McKay.

The length of the slideshow is controlled by the audio track.
