Keynote

Keynote

Keynote is part of the Apple iWork software.

The application is capable of creating animations and has a good selection of both 2D and 3D slide transitions.

The slides can be set to change at user definable time intervals or with a mouse click.

Keynote ’08 introduced the ability to export in the flash format - .swf.

Unfortunately this has been made redundant in the latest version because the Apple geniuses couldn’t figure out how to implement the 3D transitions in the flash output.

If you have a copy of Keynote ’08, don’t trash it as you can still export to flash with 2D transitions and animations like the one below.

Mare Island Shipyard was famous in recent times for building the US Navy’s nuclear submarines.

I was able to utilize some of their redundant technology to design and build this Planet Launcher.

The sunsets over Mare Island are usually spectacular but launching a few planets now and again helped to stimulate Vallejo’s lack of night life.

Unfortunately, the Planet Launcher was too big to bring with me when I relocated to Southern California so I had to set the planets free and dismantle the launcher.
